“What Should I Do Next?”
Let’s introduce three women personas, say “Kim”, “Khloe”, and “Kourtney”. Each are fierce business owners, but each of them are struggling with how to move forward.
Spoiler Alert: Our society is designed to make you feel overwhelmed and tell you this is an individual failing. This series is all about how we reject that narrative and reclaim our inner trust.
Meet “Kim”
Kim is BUSY. She has lots of tasks in front of her at all times.... and perpetually feels “behind”.
Every day she wakes up thinking, “Today’s the day I’ll get it all done!” And she sits down to work.
But then she remembers the deadline she missed yesterday, the person she said she was going to get back to, the inbox that hasn’t been touched in a few days - and starts to PANIC. How does Kim make sense of every one of the inputs coming at her, from her calendar, her text messages, her inbox, her social media, her own brain...
And Kim throws her hands up: “Where do I begin? What should I do next?”
Meet “Khloe”
Khloe has a BIG goal. She’s created a lofty target for her business this year and says “I’m going to work towards this goal!”.
And so she starts trying to do all the things. Start a community, be on 5 social media platforms every day, create a webinar, reconfigure her packages, rewrite her website, develop a speaker kit (who doesn’t want to speak!), take a course, try out a Lead Magnets funnel. Constantly switching her focus throughout the day and week.
And... after all of that...maybe do some human-to-human sales activity. (Maybe. When she has energy.)
But the revenue isn’t coming, and Khloe is exhausted.
So Khloe throws her hands up: “This isn’t working. What should I do next?”
Meet “Kourtney”
Kourtney is a more seasoned business owner. She’s gotten through the early bumps of her business and developed a set of products or coaching programs where there’s market fit.
And yet... she’s not EXCITED any more. Sitting down for sales feels like a chore. She’s not really in love with the business she’s created, and energetically the fire is dimming.
Kourtney is longing for a different type of conversation, to go deeper into the arena or the wilderness. Or to serve a different dream. But we live in a society where we have to keep doing what we’re doing to pay for life. Kourtney knows that she’s on the precipice of a liminal space between chapters.
So Kourtney throws her hands up: “I can’t go on in my business like this. But where do I start? What should I do next?”
Three different women. The same question. But three very different types of situations and next steps.
Kim is in Task Overwhelm. And in need of Radical Focus.
Khloe is in Strategic Overwhelm. And in need of Radical Clarity.
Kourtney is in Spiritual Overwhelm. And in need of a Radical Reclamation.
